Canaliculitis

An infection of the lacrimal canaliculus causing tearing, discharge, redness, and tenderness near the inner corner of the eyelid.

Canalicular Obstruction

A blockage of the lacrimal canaliculus that prevents normal tear drainage and causes persistent tearing.

Punctal Stenosis

Narrowing of the tear duct opening (punctum) that reduces tear drainage and leads to excessive tearing.

Punctal Agenesis

A rare congenital condition in which one or both tear duct openings fail to develop.

Dacryoadenitis

Inflammation of the lacrimal gland causing pain, swelling, and tenderness of the upper outer eyelid.

Lacrimal Gland Prolapse

Downward displacement of the lacrimal gland, typically presenting as a painless fullness of the upper eyelid.
